Here is my FRS AT with the Edelbrock SC. I was the one that volunteered my car to them for testing. Could't pass up the opportunity when it arose. I was originally 3rd in line but the other 2 dropped out for various reasons as you may read on the forums. Anyways Edelbrock has had it for over about a month now testing it and hopefully I will be getting it back soon with the CARB sticker also. They told me my warrant starts when i get it back. They wanted me to bring my car to Auto Enthusiast day but I was out of state this past weekend and their policy is that only the owner could bring it to the show. Anyways here are some pics. One was emailed to me (don't know why the orientation is not right side up as when i uploaded it was fine) , the other I just got off of IG. Their's of course is the BRZ which they have wrapped and mine is the FRS in the back.
As far as the oil cooler is concerned, they told me that they might be planning on releasing their own oil cooler but no final decisions yet. Perrin's system should work I was told. |

it seems turbo still beats this by a long shot i like superchargers way more and hope to see this kit make in the high 200s like turbos seem to be doing on 7-11 psi 93 octane with bolt ons.

There is always something to be said for simplicity, cleanliness of install, reliability and overall driving experience. This is quite a bit different than any available turbo kits.

Other notable mentions I should add are that my car was used strictly for carb testing which didn't go through the torturous dyno testing that their brz did which I assumed was done to see how far they can push the limits of the sc. It may also not make much of a difference but the AT makes 4 more ft-lbs of torque than the MT from what I was told going by the CARB tune.
I also asked them about possible hiccup issues during low rpms and idle issues that other SCs have had based on what I was reading and they said that they addressed those issues long ago. I also asked them if William Knose from Delicious Tuning was anyway involved in the tuning and have stated that he definitely was and heavily consulted to make sure the sc is pretty much perfectly tuned. i am still very new to the enthusiast scene but this is my second time going FI. My first was with my Honda Fit which was also AT and was also the first to be on that platform as a consumer. Didn't think it would happen again being the first consumer to go on newly announced sc but guess I was wrong. I had issues with their piggyback and eventually had to return it. It was awesome when it worked properly in the beginning. Having the opportunity to have edelbrock personally install and test out my car, this was just too good to pass up. |

240+ Whp on a CARB tune w/ Cali gas is impressive. The head room for higher PSI and Ethenol is so butter.

I was tempted to be the guinea pig but I didn't have the stock parts they needed. With that being said, when will we see graphs for the AT dyno? 240-250 Whp on CARB tune is awesome, especially if the torque delivery is snappy like an SC should be. *Edit* Here it is: http://www.edelblog.com/media/project-brzef-1/ Apparently that's the CARB tune. Look at that torque curve... |
