How to make my car louder?
I'm thinking about buying a Invidia Front pipe but I don't know if catted or catless is louder I'm trying to make it a lot louder than what it is now. Please lemme know if you have any advice

Quote:
1) try searching to avoid pointless threads as this has been covered literally hundreds of times 2) If you dont know the difference between catted and non catted you should not be modifying/changing it. 3) If you are trying to make it alot louder the mid pipe does not make much of a difference, your catback and headers will have the biggest impact on volume. |

Catless, non resonated will be loudest, but get ready for ears to bleed. I had that setup for a bit... cops do not like it in a number of areas. Have 3" cat and resonated front pipe.. sounds much better, louder than stock and lower.
I am being nice, but I do agree with the previous posters.. there are many threads on stuff like this already

What I dont get is why people just want to have exhaust loud for the sake of loud. Why not get a system that has a nice sound to it rather then it sound like a 95 civic with a coffee can on it.
