*Spotted* GTA FR-S/BRZ Sightings

Just exchanged high beams with a silver 2017 86 at the Strachan and Manitoba lights by exhibition Place. ✌️

Spotted @Gehnecide on Mississauga Road just North of Mayfield Road this morning. Saw you flash your high-beams and was just able to flash back in time (I was in an early-morning daze).

A little later on my drive, I spotted @Canehda waiting to turn onto Erin Mills Parkway from Thomas Street. I waved but not sure if you saw.

Might be the first time I've spotted 2 members in one day where I already knew who they were LOL.

Spotted an FRS on the dvp yesterday around noon same colour as mine on my way to work. waved but I don't know if you're on here.

Saw a nice looking white one with black accents this morning omw to work. QEW going west around trafalgar-ish area. Made me look.

2:30pm white BRZ heavy tint on windows, tall rear wing, roof spoiler, followed me north bound on Pharmacy from near Eglington to Lawrence Avenue where I went west. I waved as you continued north but couldn’t see a response.

Spotted this car again this morning in the same spot and shared waves again!

Haha! Yeah I've been seeing a lot the past few days...mind you a couple were duplicates, but still. Funny how this is the time when a lot of people start putting them away (mine will be hibernating as of next week), and yet I'm seeing more lately.

I also have an uncanny eye for them and tend to kind of subconsciously keep my eyes peeled for other 86's while driving.

That being said, I was in a "morning daze" this morning; I think the driver of the orange FR-S was trying to get my attention for about 5 minutes before I finally realized and waved back LOL.

I suck at spotting them. Usually they are past me before I clue in. I can frequently hear one way before I see it though so start looking all around for the boxer.

Agreed; I always had fun with this car in the snow. I've gone through 3 winters with this car so far; this is the first time I'll be parking it.

I simply drive too much and want to start trying to keep the KM's off as much as possible, and keeping her away from the salt will help extend the life as well. I do about 40k a year so I'm already at almost 128k; I figure that's a good 10-15k that I will hopefully keep off the car by not driving it through the winter.

I work at a dealership where I have access to a demo for the winter, so I figured why not park it this year and get a demo with AWD.

I admit that I will miss the winter shenanigans though.

Yesterday @ 5 pm Black 2013 frs on zenway turning left into southbound 427. I was right behind you at the light. Either you dont look at your rearview or you just dont care about other 86 drivers.

Saturday morning I was cat-sitting at my friend's apartment near Bloor and Sherbourne in the city.

Went out onto the balcony on the 19th floor to have a smoke, and noticed a WRB BRZ parked in a gravel parking lot across from the apartment building. It looked like it had gold wheels, front plate relocate, perhaps a front lip, blue gauge-cluster hood, and a white die-cut sticker at the top of the windshield.

Couldn't see much else from 19 floors up. I think this was around 10:30-11am.

Merged on to the 401 from the 403 around 10:55 and caught up with a black FRS with an aftermarket exhaust. I saw that the license plate was a bunch of binary numbers, which one I looked it up when I got home actually ended up being 86 in binary. Had myself a good chuckle, well done dude!
