Lol ^THIS! When I heard Subaru had a hand in making this car I knew JT was gonna be shit. I really WANT to like and buy this car but I just CANT because of all this little nagging issues. Also because I've owned an STi and know that working on these shitty boxer motors is a nightmare.

Any new car is going to have niggles. Also the FA20 is quite different to any of the EJ motors. If you "CANT" like this car then why are you here?

I like certain things of this car and am enjoying keeping up with several different vehicle's progress that are on the market. Sadly even though this is a different motor, it's still a bunch of Subaru parts designed by the same team of failures. I realize that this motor doesn't share much with the EJ but that doesn't mean it's designed any better when power is applied. Between the dozens of "niggles" I don't see any point in buying one even though it had tons of potential in being a fun toy, at least not at 20k+. Rather have a built used evo/Sti at that price or a 2011+ 5.0 mustang

Sounds like the 86 wasn't the type of car you were looking for to begin with

Why do you say that? People who are looking for sports cars wouldnt be interested in a car like the BRZ/FRS? Isn't that what this car is supposed to be? An affordable and reliable entry level sports car, except it's not reliable which in turn should lower its price point except that isn't happening enough on used ones IMO, that's all. At the price point it's at someone could get the aforementioned vehicles with less issues.

You said you'd rather have a Mustang. A Mustang is a completely different animal

Thread revival. My 2015 Limited didn't have the above-strut grommets. Not sure where to look for the other ones.

Crawled under my car to take a look and see if they were there and, it got real bad. The driver side hole is ripped to shreds like something sheared through the metal towards the tire. I'll post pics when i can. I'm looking for a some recommendations.

I have metal tape over the holes in my trunk. FU#$#% MICE were building nests in my car everywhere, not to mention my trunk was full of water. Covered the holes, and now no mice or water.
