Sorry for the late reply everyone, didn't see this thread until just now.

I worked with @dp1 to get a new catless section sent out to him after he called in and described the issue he was having. Based on the information provided over the phone, we both agreed that it was unlikely a manufacturing defect, but I still offered him a considerable discount on the new pipe to help him out as best I could.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, we offer a 3 year warranty for exhaust components. This covers any and all manufacturer defects, and includes catalytic converters.

Well, I did it. Local tuner talked me into the P&L catted EL header and overpipe. I already have a TRD CAI installed. I have the install and tune happening next Friday.

Love my P&L Catted EL. Paired it with a ARK exhaust and it sounds and runs great

I've been looking at headers for a while now and always liked the P&L headers. Great to see them stand by their product and help you out. @P&L Motorsports

@moto-mike seems like a great shop. Hard to come by shops that explain everything to you and show you what is wrong and fix it. The tune being the most important thing and it being the real problem, luckily you caught that early and had it fixed.

I know where I'll be going for a header and a tune.

How'd you get the Damn 3rd nut on each side of the header secured? No room for a straight socket like stock.

I tried it. The thing is you need a long socket to clear the stud, and then the swivel, and at that point I can even clear a medium length ratchet. The other side is even worse. Tried to get a wrench in there but no room...

Stick the extension between the tubes and then attach swivel and socket

I had the header and I'm pretty sure that's what I did.

Well it worked, so thank you! Was still a bit of a pain in the ass to get it out, but at least it's out. I'm putting in a JDL UEL for a different sound, and that was much easier, thankfully.
