I think nobody cares this product now, but I have kept warranty-replaced mounts to use later.

Now I prepare stock spring seats to use with conical washers.

Using a hand drill, the spot-welded flat washer was removed.

The conical washer will be used as a replacement.

I'll check how long the mounts will last with this setup.

I've installed Com-C mounts with RCE Tarmac springs and Koni Yellows.

This is a stock spring perch on the Koni Yellow.

With a conical washer. As you can see, the conical washer is slightly thicker than the flat welded washer.

Alignment spec:
Front camber -3, toe 0
Rear camber -2, toe 0

In the last year, it failed after a day of HPDE. Only the mounts are installed to the stock struts.
This time, they have survived after a day of HPDE on wet road plus over 600 km trip to and from the Korean International Circuit. Wet condition may give less load to the mounts but I think this signal is positive.

I had to to send a nasty email to every single address on the whiteline web page before Jan would finally respond. Basically, I had to make him look like a **** in front of everyone he works with before I finally got my money back.... Worked for me.

So drilling was the best way to get the flat washers off. Did you try any other method?

A conventional drill bit didnot work.

A spot weld cutter was used and the result was great.
I don't know exact size of it. You may guess from the photos in my previous post.

How are they holding up with the conical washers?

Also wondering. Mine have been on for 1000 miles but when I move the car out of the garage I get a loud pop from both sides. Only happens once after the car has sat for a night. Then never happens the rest of the day.

I got small pop noise sometimes when mount nuts are not tightened.

Koni Yellows have not enough threads left with conical washers. The urethane(or whatever) stopper at the top part of the mount nut cannot contact with the shaft of Koni. So those nuts sometimes are loose.

Except that problem, currently working well.

In case anyone is still waiting on Whiteline for an update, I got one from Jan last week. They have tried a few fixes, but they all did not meet durability standards. They are testing some other fixes now, but no ETA.

As for me, I removed the Comp-C's this past Monday and replaced them with HVT camber plates. No issues at all with the HVT's. When I inspected the bearings in the Comp-C's, the passenger side was extremely notchy and would stick which would explain why I would get coil bind at times where the bearing would stick and then release causing a popping noise from the spring. The driver's side was quiet until recently when I heard some coil bind as well. Upon inspection, the bearing was a lot smoother, but you could feel some graininess from the bearing with your fingers so it looks like it was only a matter of time before it would start having issues.

I'll post up if I get any more updates from Whiteline.

Hello,

Finally the day came.
My RH Com-C mount started to make noise.
Compared to LH one, the rubber looks bent slightly.

I'll go back to the stock or HVT.
