How to install Crawford Performance Billet Power Blocks (video?)

New Video. BC audio was messed up. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcsOr1RlfMw&list=UUOo7XX5p4bbt5L5hAW0R73A"]How to Install Crawford Performace Power Blocks BRZ FRS GT86 - YouTube[/ame]

Stuff you needs.

remove engine cover.

Remove PVC line. It pops right off.

Passenger side

remove these 3 bolts.

remove clips.

more clips.

remove things that could be in your way. I removed my sound generator all ready. You might have to as well. Do whatever it takes to give you more slack to move the manifold.

Remove the two bolts holding down the fuel rail guard.

Couldn't get a good pix because wires were in the way. Anyhow, it is the bolt that I am pointing to.

After take off the bolts, remove the fuel rail guard.

Driver side.
Remove this bolt.

Remove two bolts holding the fuel rail guard.

remove fuel rail guard.

I had to cut bottom clip to give me more slack to move the manifold.

Remove the 6 bolts holding down the manifold.

Prepare the blocks by putting the gaskets in. Note, the gasket is faced down when they are installed in the car.

A trick for sliding them in is to move manifold left and right. If you cannot move the manifold left and right see what other clips or wires that are in the way and loosen them.

After the blocks are installed. Set up the PVC line. The top and bottom can be pulled. The line will become longer. Pull and make sure it is long enough to fit in. Next zip tie both ends.

Final steps reverse the remove and steps. Install the the new hardware and spacers.

Sorry about the music. I like to listen to something when I work.

Review:It works well with the tune from Shiv. unequal length headers + Blocks on octane 93. 2nd and 3rd gear pulls feels great. MPG I have not noticed any drop. Sound I think it has cleared up my Borla headers and N1 But I could be crazy

Enjoy.

I actually installed it on Sunday or the day before you posted the DIY... I will prob end up getting EL headers and mid pipe then a tune. But so far bottom end feels laggy.

Butt dyno says......

Tune is uploaded and working well now. OFT unequal length headers + BPB @ 91 OCT. I feel the most difference in 3rd gear pulls. I been data logging. Driving is easier. And I might be crazy, but my boxer rumble sounds cleaner and more crispy.

Tried this tonight, I followed all directions yet the manifold still doesn't lift up enough to fit spacers underneath. I can't figure out what the issue is .... If anyone has input i'd greatly appreciate it.
