Yes. They do it every year around this time. Last year I got 2nd place in the 1970 and newer class. A really clean 1971 Chevy SS took 1st!

Anyone ever tried resolving the 'rough idle' RPM issue at either Georgetown Subaru or Austin Subaru? - http://www.reddit.com/r/ft86/comment...rz_rough_idle/

Just discovered the little gem that is DIY Texas (http://www.loyalaustin.com/) - lifts and tool rental ON THE CHEAP as well as professional support from the staff. (I've never been there but found them online) Looks like they have a loyal following and very good reviews. If any of you have used this facility or are planning to do your own mods/repairs and need a lift (tools, help etc) let me know. I'd be down to come help (and learn) on Sundays. Knowing that this place is available makes it easier to rationalize buying mods that i would normally install myself if i had the necessary tools and lift.

also- cars&coffee this sunday weather permitting?

DIY Texas is ok. Interesting controversy in the history of it, but they've been pretty stand-up when I've used the shop. Was gonna use them this weekend to install my header, OP, and FP but I found a friend's shop to use.

C&C is pushed out a week because of mother's day.

I just had my tuner fix it while getting tuned a long time ago.

DIY Texas is pretty good. Used it for header back exhausts, trans/diff fluid swap, white line positive shift and Perrin rear shifter bushing. Makes everything a ton easier getting under the car.

I'm putting on Winmax W2 brake pads this weekend, but I'll just do that at home.

Oooo very nice. well PM me if you are doing that install on sunday - id like to come watch/help as i know the overpipe/header can be a bit of a bitch to do and i'd like to know the tricks to it before tackling that project myself. (and i want to hear it in person

I'm doing it today. About to head out in about an hour, shop is off of Grand Central Parkway and I-35 towards Graham Central Station.
