Kancamagus Highway New Hampshire

Approximately 32 miles one way through the White Mountains. Nice road, can be a bit busy during the weekend. Plenty of viewing spots and hiking trails if you need a break. Many other mountain roads to explore in the nearby area. One of my favorite day trips!

@Calum going to Crete on my honeymoon, looks like I'm adding another thing to our agenda. Any suggestion for starting point? Thanks!

I'll be back on the dragon (now in the FR-S) in 3 weeks. Can't wait.

You are so right though, the dragon, for as much fun as it is, is a bit too technical at times and moonshiner, hellbender and cherohala skyway are all amazing (and totally worthy of a vacation!) It'll be my 3rd straight year up. The area is absolutely beautiful.

PCH in California between Carmel and Los Osos. Either way, or both.

Western NC, Northern SC, TN, and GA have some great roads. I've driven Tail of the Dragon, Moonshiner 28, Cherohala Skyway, Devils Whip, Diamondback, the Blue Ridge Parkway from Cherokee to Virginia, Hwy 421, 74A, 276 over Ceasars Head, and the list goes on. When I get bored, I hunt NC on google earth for roads. I think the "Back of the Dragon" is on the to-do list for this year, along with a possible return to the Dragon next month.

April 26 is the "2014 Boxer Tail of the Dragon Takeover",

https://www.facebook.com/events/157366581131851/

AND a the Smokey Mountain Bootleggers Rally, which is primarly for Noble, Rossion and Mosler owners, but as a former Mosler employee I was invited.

https://www.facebook.com/events/644700448920811/

Now to decide which one, or both to attend.

If you're in Colorado, the drive up Pikes Peak is kinda fun.

Not as much fun as it used to be, before they went and paved it the whole way.

Oh, yes, many curves don't have guard rails .... so, if you hang out your cars rear end .... know how to bring it back .... cause there ain't no second chances ...

I am in the booming metropolis of Deering, all 2000 of us!
You may have seen me as I was up in that area awhile ago, though can't remember exactly when! Old age you know!

It is a great thing to just take the day and cruise around NH, so many interesting places to go for such a small state.

Planning on turning an old bike cruise through the winding roads of WI into a twin cruise. Will be verifying the course in the next month and setting a date for the cruise after that. Will be starting out of the Twin Cities and doing a figure eight through the WI country side. There will plenty of chances for people to "hook up" and tag along.
