In my eyes it looks like a practice run, a bit premature (-10years). I am also thinking that you've tried it but didn't like it.. therefore I suggest that you seek out some "on-trend" attire and clear the the "old fog" thoughts... Oh, and get a "proper" fast car...

Yep.

When I got my FR-S, I got me a new pair of sweatpants, new suspenders and a new flannel shirt and 6 pair of white socks. Now, I'm all outfitted with a new look -

(I wear the suspenders under my flannel shirt, so people won't think I'm old)

My son in law has had that look since he was 30. As well as a “bad knee”’ and several other old man complaints. He is at least twenty years older than me by now by your standard.

Suspenders moved outside, grow a beard. shave the sides of your hair and slick back the top, hang out at local pretentious coffee shop and you will fit in with the young crowd especially in Seattle.

Yea, he is happy now that he can pick more of a "normal" work schedule.

I think that look will work here in London too.. and Alaska (I've been watching Yukon Men)... And, not forgetting what our dear ole friends the Monty Python team sang, the look will work in Canada too...

We had two black lab-boxer mix pups (brothers) that we kept in our yard with an invisible fence. They were easy to train and obedient dogs (the type that if you put them on their mat and said stay, they would stay there all day) and took to the fence fine with training. They rarely set the beeps off never mind get shocked.

One day an interloper (a raccoon) got into the yard and one of them chased it. They were so focused on the catch that they ran through the fence, and being smart figured out that would work anytime they wanted with minimal pain.

The collars we used for them were the smaller ones that use watch type batteries. I upgraded to the ones that used a 9 volt battery.

Next time the dog decided to chase prey outside the yard, he took off, the beep went off, he continued running. When the shock hit he literally did a back flip like he had run into a solid wall, and resumed his never setting off the beep routine.

Being curious, I had tested the collar myself, in my hand. It felt about like a contact with a standard US outlet, where the smaller one felt more like an electric fence. I never actually measured them though, not sure what the real output is.

It was a shitty apartment in an otherwise nice neighborhood. E-6 might be the sweet spot for enlisted types but it's not exactly living the high life.
