I'm on stage 2 UEL and can't say if it's more efficient than stock. I guess that since you have more torque you can use low and mid range rpm , just where there was the torque dip, instead of redlining the engine every time you need power.
That being said, you will feel more power, and maybe that will encourage you to drive harder, that's going to rise the mpg for sure

I've seen gas consumption ranging from 19-33 MPG per tank depending on the amount of city vs. highway driving I'm doing and how badly I'm flogging my beastie.

I've been running an Invidia N1 catback with Injen SP1230P CAI for a few years and didn't see any MPG change when flashing the OFT Stage 1 tune to it back in Jan '17.

This weekend, I installed the FT-86 Catless UEL Headers and flashed the OFT Stage 2 tune. I'll make another post when I've had a couple fill-ups following those upgrades.
