I don't mind white gauges during the day but never like them at night. With the shift light you won't need to pay attention to the needle anyways but I've always found black faces with amber/red lettering and needles to be easiest to read at night (red/amber backlight, white letters during the day). If I wasn't posting from my iPad I'd put a link to my current cluster which I find easy to read day and night.

But im sure that if Toyota did go with the Celica name for the FT86, im sure its got nothing whatsoever to do with the old Gen3 Celica. |

@sfwg: Solid choice, I love those. lm not sure yet 5x100 fitment and not having any specs to run off limits my choices haha. Rotas,Enkei who knows haha not sure if I wanna run an aggressive track set up or more style either!

Ciao all,
I've been following this forum for a couple of days after i saw the first "real" pics of this Toyobaru (whatever) on Autocar's website. Techinally more Subaru, i quess... I'm quite impressed, car looks good both inside and outside. Better than i expected it to be. It's somehow funny to read some of the comments on these forums. People tend to loose a touch into reality sometimes. What are we talking about here? We're talking about a relative cheap sportscar, coupe... Some people seem to have expectations that are way over the estimated pricetag. With 25000-28 000 usd, can you really expect to get ultimately exotic "mini-Ferrari"?? Those expectations are because people have seen a one-off consept at some autoshow and they don't understand the difference. Concepts are not real. They are not even ment to be, many times not even close. Most of the times those "cars" are not even roadworthy. In many cases they don't even have an engine, transmission etc. Sometimes concepts are just a plastic cover with wheels. And that is cheap to do, just a hint of the design lanquage. I'd say a really interesting car in it's own class & pricerange. After many, many years i can consider buying a Japanise car again. Probably a Subaru. If there's some spelling mistakes, i apologize. I'm not from english-speaking country. |

I've not seen the large wing in any of these brochures- i wonder if that is a subaru addon - it is similar to the current subaru wing after all - it should bolt straight on though i suppose if i really want it on the toyota
regards rear lights - im sure some red or black tinted paint/vynil should sort them out
