Ok I see what you mean, I did have to reverse everything you said(e.g. right lane = left lane where I drive)

Sounds like she pulled out and didn't see you, typical crap driver.

Did you hit the curb to cause the scratch on your wheel?

Yeah, just notice that you're on other side of the earth lol

I am assuming so, cuz when I dodged it, I heard the scrape... for a sec, I thought, I've scraped my rear bumper or quarter panel... but when I checked, it was 1" scrape on the lip of the wheel

Welp, too bad you got your wheel scuffed up ......

hmmmm.........you may not have been her blind spot, but you weren't where she was looking.

Yep, I agree, when turning like that, she should have stayed in the inside lane .... and you made the "assumption" she was going to do so.

And you know what they say about "assumptions" ........ they are "the mother of all fuck ups".

I put situations like that, right up there with the dangers of driving in a parking lot of a mall or supermarket. EVERYONE walking thinks the whole parking lot is a crosswalk. EVERYONE driving thinks they have the right of way.

Now, throw in distracted drivers (texting, talking on cell phones, yelling at kids); impaired drivers (drugs, alcohol); new drivers (thinking it's a video game); old drivers that can't see or hear too well and drivers that are just stupid ........ all this makes for a dangerous environment .....

So, maybe you got off lucky .......

No. It taps into one of the leads for your high beams. Literally a 15 minute job if you know the wiring.
