Because it seems about 75% of the owners of this car cant stand to see or hear of someone who might have one "better" than theirs, IMO.

Not gonna lie the rear end isn't really to my taste. The reverse lights look really out of place to me.

Its a beautiful ride. Why mess with perfection. I want the seats, aero package and the rear fascia. That rear panel reminds me of the Porsche Boxster and we all know the backup lights are in need of an overhaul.

I agree. How many after market single pipes are out there? A good single pipe setup would be ideal. The big backup lights are a plus. I just wish they wouldve taken it under the car in a BIG diffuser style. Looks like it goes under but kinda small.

Agreed. Armrest only gets in the way.

I dont HATE the rear end of the car I just wish the exhaust was something more than just any regular looking exhaust tip. Would rather have something with much more flare

I've always had a thing for center exhausts, going back to this thread. This one feels a little uninspired. It must sound nice, though.

Did you see the wheels are made by "Rays Eng" and "Forged"
Possibly Volk Racing wheels?? 235s in rear and 215 up front, I'm suspecting 17x8 in rear and 17x7 up front

Volk Racing is a brand under Rays.

It's forged and manufactured by Rays Engineering, but they are not Volk Racing wheels.

I should note that neither TRD nor Gazoo Racing makes any of their own brakes. These usually are some type of OE supplier rebranded, but definitely not Brembo.
Correct. Advics maybe?

Just like the GRMN, but with a higher profile(45 instead of 40 for both front and rear). I don't get it either.

GRMN 86 has the same wheels, sized 17x7.5 front and 17x8 rear.

Here's an extended walkaround I did of the car. Videos show the lines much better.

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5B4NWsxFws0"]Extended walkaround of Toyota 86 GR at MegaWeb - YouTube[/ame]

Based on the price difference between a Mark X 350RDS vs Mark X 350RDS "GR Sport", expect the 86 GR to be about $7k more expensive than a top level 86.

$7k for aero, brakes, wheels, seats, suspension. Is it worth it? up to the individual buyer.

Edit:

I forgot to add the old GRMN 86 was on display at Mega Web back in January. Here's the video of that:
