Antenna is only for radio right? GPS is under the dash?

The FR-S and BR-Z GPS antenna is not through the roof antenna, your assumptions are correct. There is a special antenna mounted on a metal plate either above the gauge cluster or above the glovebox

You could always get a window/pillar hidden mount antenna if reception is needed. Very interested, quite a nice yet simple project..

Also I know it's weird but OCD is kicking in could you press enter on before the second photo so its all in one line
You seen the one where the guy cut up a soda can to mask the hole then vinyl wrap over it? That's like begging for it to scratch the paint.

Whoever wants it just pm me and I'll email you the file. Take it to whatever 3d printing service you prefer and you'll get a little tile in the mail, paint, silicone and you're done

It looks great, my friend has a small 3D printer for his hobby but unfortunately I use the radio sometimes when I have to drive my sister around.

I like to listen to my radio and I like the RC antenna, much more than the shark one. But if I had a choice to listen to the radio and do this, I would

I don't believe the cheap ones will work as well. I had this plug made from "frosted model plastic" and it has very fine details/sharp edges. Very different from other prints I've seen that look like they are made from sand or string/thread

Pooch mentioned a pillar mount antenna. May be an option for you

Well that crappy console plaque is mine and I agree it is not great but I don't have access to a 3d printer and time to do this. So this is definitely better than mine. Also I didn't wrap it after and this has NOT leaked since install and snow and rain. So it seems like it works. I am glad I inspired your idea @Ashikabi :] So how about sending me the file? thanks!

This looks just as good from a distance.

Looks really good in pics, I was thinking about how to do this when you posted this thread.

Just ordered mine from https://www.shapeways.com/ using Ashikabi's file, and used the promo code MAKESHIPMAY for free shipping.
