Reads normal from what I can tell. Moves smooth, nothing out of the ordinary.

Unfortunately I haven't been in a place to remove the sender to see where the actual level is at when it runs out. I will just double check everything tonight. I hope to get everything done tonight. Including shortening the shifter, sealing the exhaust leak, and checking the fuel pump hanger. I also have to figure out why the tire on my 9-5 went flat all of a sudden with no indication of a puncture anywhere.

oh also. No Word from Vorshlag on refund. It will be two weeks this wednesday. Left an email last wednesday asking if there was any update on the cancellation of the order/refund. No reply, I then called Friday a few times with no answers.

Yup, higher octane gas resists knock, allows more timing, makes more power. But what does that have to do with fuel gauge issues?

Interesting note. Vorshlags supplier for their headers broke the jig and Vorshlag now needs to make a new one. They are going to 1 7/8 and making them clear the sway bar... Not sure why they didn't do that in the first place, I would have ordered them haha. Still in talks with my friend about the headers, hoping to get a quote on material soon-ish.

also, contacted Vorshlag Wednesday, I had to send an email to everyone to get a reply. Was told the refund would be taken care of this week, but nothing yet.

They didn't post an eta, but mentioned that they still had to swap the shop car so they could get to building the headers.

Edit: Quote from the update.

" One problem we do need to address is the long tube headers… our production header manufacturer here in the USA damaged the production header fixture beyond repair. Its something we just found out about after placing a large production order many months ago, and we are scrambling to remake another prototype header set now.

This is not something we wanted to happen, obviously, but we’re trying to see the “silver lining” in this fiasco. With a whole new header design we can accommodate the front swaybar as well as moving up to a 1-7/8″ primary size (up from 1-3/4″). This should both add horsepower AND reduce the need for a custom swaybar. We’re ripping apart a company owned FRS now and have parts on hand to build the “new prototype” header. We have fast tracked the production version and should have something ready to ship soon."

Planning on starting to order things Monday. I have flip flopped on what parts I am wanting to go with quite a bit. Changed between the LS3 and a LS7 four or five times now.
I went with stroked LS3 from Texas Speed for the RX-7. Cheaper than LS7 with nearly the same displacement. No ragrets!

Yeah I am enjoying the 418 LS3 so far. 500 mile break in is a less than 75 miles away, get it on the dyno hopefully tomorrow and change the oil afterwards.

I am super paranoid though. Lifters are kind of loud, but they could be normal and I am just not used to it. I am nitpicking every sound or vibration haha.

I'm excited for you dustin! The C6 headers are a great cheap alternative. And it will allow pretty much everything to work out. BUT weren't you saying something about the engine mounting solution not allowing the swap bar anyways??!!

Yeah... That is what I trying to figure out. Not sure why I was having issues. I checked the other day, but my header solution hit the sway bar so I couldn't say if it would fit after all or not. I am going to need new headers to clear. So I will pass that hurdle down the road.

I have not. Between 2500-3500 RPM is when it seems to come around. I still want to take the spark plugs out and check them. Took a few friends for rides last night, they couldn't really pin point anything else either. Hopefully the dyno will help a bit.

That could also be drive shaft issues.
