Concealed carry cartridge?
What is your concealed carry cartridge of choice and why?
Personally I've been hooked on .380 auto since I turned twenty-one. First was a Kel-Tec P3AT. Traded for a Ruger LCP. Traded for a S&W Bodyguard .380. Traded for a Kahr P380. I've been carrying the P380 for several years and couldn't be happier with it. I've got no plans to upgrade. For me little Kahr is the easiest to hold, the easiest to shoot, the most accurate and the most reliable. I think it also has the nicest trigger. The easiest to conceal, for me, was the little LCP, but it was fussy and not much fun to shoot. Interested to see what everyone's preferences are.

9mm or .45 acp works fine for me. Usually with a magazine of defense ammo and an additional magazine of FMJs. |

I have the most experience with .45ACP so that's what I choose to carry.

My pocket carry is my Sig P938 (9mm), but my primary carry (when I'm carrying it) is my 1911 in .45ACP.

If I actually lived in a free state, I would carry .45ACP or 9mm.
It's true about bank robbers though, had a bank down the road robbed this morning and the guy just handed a note to the teller and walked out with the money. |

While my .25 auto pocket pistol was a lot of fun, I wouldn't trust it to reliably stop someone
I vote for .45acp, have not gotten my license yet (only became legal to get a CCW license recently) but have a Kimber Elite Carry for when I get the time to take the test. Had a glock 26 in 9mm but for some reason I just did not like it at all.

I had a PA-63, seemed like it would make a good carry (if you are talking about the mak pistols/clones)
