A local member had been told the same thing by HKS-Korea. V3 is only available for NA market, and only V2 is available for other markets.

Just got a confirmation that my rehaul kit has been shipped from the US and it is precisely for V2 with 1-bolt pulley mounting. Really looking forward to getting it. Hopefully it fits bolt-on.

And...my overhaul V1 (same as V3) is not shipped yet, ordered in early August. Paid $350 air freight to get time to use it before storing car for winter Nov 1. Was told it would arrive in Sept.
Asked dealer 2 weeks ago to revert to regular shipping as it was a waste and guess what, gave me a story that we can't revert back now.

Depending on the reasoning for it not shipping and whether or not you'd feel like a douche bag... You could always do a charge back if you paid with a CC.

Not shipping because it's not ready, I presume. I paid as a separate item on the invoice for the air freight $350 US which is $500 CDN for me. I dont have anything on the invoice indicating it must be delivered by a specific date so there's no grounds for a charge back.

I need to replace the blower so there's no way I'd cancel the order, but it would have been nice for the dealer to recognize I am paying a hefty sum for a service they are not delivering on and agree to credit back the air freight fee and charge me regular shipping if need be.

In the end I don't care at this point if I get the blower in January if I get back a few hundred bucks. The dealer's rebuttal was that I'd STILL be getting my rebuild unit about 6 weeks before the V3 kits deliver. As if it matters to me at this point for $500. That's shitty business practice but I guess they have me by the balls since I need to replace the unit I damaged.

Of course this happens at a time I find myself tight for money.

Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy the V3 kit, however, I already own an Open Flash Tablet and wondering if I should get the HKS WITHOUT the ECU kit or buy with and sell the Open Flash Tablet.

Had a compressor issue that blew traction fluid down the hot section of the intercooler piping, along with highly increased intake temps probably because of internal oiling issues with the compressor (not confirmed). Engine has what sounds like rod knock and oil has fine metallic particles in it (probably a bearing). I have ceased diagnosis in my garage and i am sending the car to Rev Works to complete the diagnosis with report and perform an engine build. compressor surely went during the 90 day grace period. I would love to see as much help as possible from hks, i will keep everyone posted on what hks offers to the US market in customer service. i have always heard nothing but great things... time and action will tell all.

i would recommend to new buyers and existing to monitor your compressor performance to eliminate costly issues with your car.

Welcome to the club! Could you please post your SC's serial #? I'm collecting them

I received my "rehaul kit" in the mean time which consisted of nothing but the blower itself... No traction fluid, no filter, nothing. Funny "rehaul kit". Now trying to get a nearly $300 traction fluid which is really hard to get as no one wants to send it via air mail (flammable) and a Jackson racing filter (which is the same as HKS) as it's almost impossible to get a HKS part # for it and buy it separately from them.

I have the V1 kit and ive only ran the stock pulley. i am on e85, pump, and injectors. i spoke with josh at hks and we discussed the possibility of the SC causing the engine failure... probably not what has caused what seems to be a bearing failure. but the sc itself failing so soon is not making me feel so great. Josh from HKS will get with me tuesday 11-10-2015 to see what the warranty details are. i will keep everyone updated on customer service details in the US as i get them. as for my car. rebuild will be starting soon and i would like to get with others who built their motors to see what id like to do.
