Trustworthy Shops In The OC - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Hey everyone!

I picked up my FR-S last month and itching to get a little work done. I see there are some DIY DAY threads which is awesome and will be looking to get hooked up there later, but there are a couple things I would like a shop to do. First thing is I am ordering some Eibach Pro Springs for a little better cornering (don't want full coilovers at this time) and to get rid of that terrible fender gap. Where is a good place to get these installed and an alignment done that is not stupid expensive like the dealer? Also a great place to have a short shift kit installed? I think I could do it but don't like messing with transmission stuff (any one know if this helps with the notchy shifting?) Thanks for the help and looking forward to maybe meeting some of you at a local car meet.

Give 7L autosport a try, awesome shop. The guys there give you complete attention and give you a ton of information. They have an alinegment rack on site to get you taken care of.

Corner 3 Garage. Like Evasive, they're pretty busy so I recommend calling 2 weeks in advance.

Springs and short shifter are easier than you think, especially with all the really detailed DIY write ups on this forum.

But if you have the cash, socal is home to plenty of trustworthy shops for our cars. I'm going to throw in Autotuned (Monrovia) and Fuzion Teknique (Gardena). Autotuned is run by Young Tea, which most enthusiast should recognize.
