I doubt there would be much weight loss since just about every thing he has is an addition to the car and the oem hood is aluminum. Only decent savings I can see are in the trunk but I doubt that's much.

Looks great tho!!! I love the rear lip!

If you get only one part in CF, sure there is no significant weight saving. But if you go full CF, a little here, a little there, you can save quite alot up to more than 50 kg. But htat costs of course.

well the way he describes it,"cover" that mean no weight loss, only gains in weight.

A few ppl might've noticed that OP said "double sided CF cover". Sounds like an overlay over OEM parts. Instead of vinyl wrap, it's a stiff piece of real CF.

CF comes in either resin or gel coat. Most hoods are gel coat - similar to clear coat on cars, need to be waxed to help it last longer. We have customers who took care of their CF parts and lasts for years (even here in FL heat). On the other hand, we've got a few who runs their car through automated car wash or wash car with dish washing sponge...

PS: CF hood and trunk are available as real CF replacement, but roof, would almost have to stay an overlay. Seibon already have these available, msg if anyone's interested.
