Couple of things I've come across.

Titanfall 2 is in the works for Xbox One and PS4. And I'm guessing PC as well.

There's a new SDK for the Xbox One that has allowed developers a bit more grunt, and thus Destiny will run at a higher resolution than originally planned.

Called the GTAV thing. Glad to see it's actually happening. TOLD YOU SO to all the naysayers. :P

Batman Arkham Knight looks really cool. Nothing on Gran Turismo or God of War though. Mortal Kombat looks like its usual over the top fun as well.

No Man's Sky looks awesome.

Not sure how I feel about E3. Games that I am looking forward to this year:

FarCry 4 (The last one was good... hoping this one will be just as good)
Halo: The Master Chief Collection (I am a sucker for this series)
Forza Horizon 2 (Huge Forza fan... even though Forza 5 was meh)
Battlefield Hardline (It's Battlefield. Nuff said)

Starting to be happy that I got an Xbox One, granted, I am already on my second console (original day one edition had a bad Blu-ray drive).

The list of mods will be endless on PC version. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jelly...

Open world Zelda. Sounds good!

Battlefield Hardline is intriguing. I hope I get into the beta. The cops n robbers thing sounds like more fun to me now since it's not the same old war faction versus thing over and over again. I mean, it kinda is, but not really.

Not much really exciting news to come out of E3 so far... Lots of predictable announcements, and lots of unveilings for games that won't be out for a year or more. It was nice to see Nurbergring coming for free to FM5, but we all knew that (given the way they have handed out free tracks left and right since launch).

New DOOM looks pretty damn cool though!

I also felt underwhelmed, it's like they just re-hashed half the show from last year except some of the games had actual gameplay footage this time.

I have 2 games I pre-ordered after last year's E3 that I haven't gotten yet, Destiny and Witcher 3. Witcher isn't even till 2015.

Like you said hard to get excited for something I wont have for another year or 2.

This is kinda how it goes for almost any next-gen system though while we wait for them to stop making everything post-gen cross release as well. Or the PC for that matter. We'll hear about a game and it's two, three, even four years off. So I suppose I'm used to it.

Gotta say that there are some neat things coming out, but Nintendo impressed me the most.

As much as I'd love to have Link or StarFox in MK8, I'm not going to buy a plastic toy to do it.

Well, if they do offer them as "physical DLC" like Disney and Skylanders do at least they should have a function that carries them into different games. I think the idea of training and raising an amiibo is neat, and I'm sure my kids will get a kick out of it, but I've never been into Skylanders or Infinity so we'll see if I get any use out of them.

Then again, I don't see anything outside of the Mario world getting into Mario Kart (I seriously read that as Mortal Kombat at first..)

I would also like to play star fox and maybe Zelda, but i'm also not going to buy a Wii U.

I bought a regular Wii back in the day thinking the same thing, used it like 3 times and I just gave it away to my little cousin because it was less useful than a paperweight.
