are you saying this supercharger kit dosnt spool as fast as the turbo kits? i thought that was the hole point, the pulley constantly turning the comperssor and all...

I said that before I just now drove it. It spools fast but the power really comes in up top. Full throttle and shifting through gears boost is always there. Check turbo graphs and super charger graphs. For instance turboed cars get to 250whp sooner. But slightly lose boost up top, ( very slightly) . The blowers do not

ah ok i understand what you are saying. i was thinking more along the lines that you were experiencing "turbo lag".

Now in my opinion the vortech supercharger is the best choice for a daily driven frs/brz. Because of the gradual slope of the power band. The immediate spike from a turbo boosting your rods and engine will experience more "torque shock". And ultimately putting wear on the engine. In my experience.

yeah, im still undecided. since vortech released their new compressor its realy looking good. and i realy like the simplicity of the kit. i just wish some of the dudes over here would run supers so i could see a dyno on our high octane fuel. i wana be over 275whp.
