"Never seen a bad Twinkie"???? I bet the Twinkie factory has some type of QC so that "bad Twinkies" can't be found roaming the streets.

And which would you rather have? A Twinkie or a homemade cake that someone spent hours making from their grandma's recipe. So much for your "sound logic".

Yes, there are crappy parents out there but even the best bakers can't always make perfect cakes.

It’s all just time, temperature, and composition

When I worked for the scale company I used to go to large commercial bakeries and the smell was intoxicating. Nothing like being 25ft in the air in a scissor lift calibrating a hopper scale while they are baking all kinds of goodies en masse.

Track car prepped for tomorrow. Took the interior out to clean underneath everything, figured it might as well stay out. Surely I'll be fast now! (/s).

The rear seat back puts in a lot of work keeping noise down in the cabin. I hear everything now q.q

There you go! Throw out all the bad twinkies. Problem solved.

That must have been one heluva whack. @Sapphireho is right to give me shit about it. He's seen what a hardcore barefooter I am.

I'm pitiful. I made a stop at REI today to look at some quick dry towels for my trip to japan in October.

I was walking up to the store and while I was still about 20ft away, this cute girl got to the door first, and then she saw me and held it open for me and smiled.

And then inside the store we crossed paths a couple times and I kept struggling to figure out something to say/make a move so I ended up just leaving!

Sometimes stuff like this is a confidence problem but honestly this time it felt more like I just didn't know wtf to say. So in the indecisiveness I gave up.

I have zero game.

LOL, could have been worse.

I have no game whatsoever, so I don't even bother trying.

Bow to the rear seat back. It does not get enough credit for all of the work it does.

Wanna hear a story about me having negative game before I met my wife? I'll put a tldr at the bottom.

I was out with a bunch of friends, probably the summer after graduating highschool. We were heading home (I'm the driver, as usual) and I said something like "going to drop off girl #1 first". One by one every one else requested to be dropped off first/second/third in an odd order that would of course leave girl #1 last. Now, any third party observer knows where this is going, but first party Spuds was very, very confused.

Fast forward an hour, after everyone said bye in a strange way leaving me more confused and concerned I pissed everyone off, and it's just me and girl #1. Now, I've had a low key crush this girl for like a year but young dumb Spuds thinks she's definitely into someone else. So she asks if there's any girls I like, and panicking I respond with my best friend's name (girl #2) who was just in the car 5 minutes ago (we had a... complicated friendship lol). Asks if I like anyone else, respond with well girl #3 is cute too (oh yes the third girl in the car 10 minutes ago, I rocked a minivan in those days). "Aaaaanyone else?", as we pull up to her place. "No not really why do you ask?" "It's really not important", gets out walls straight to the door and goes inside. Never seen her since I went off to college.

Took me literally years to figure out what was going on that night, and I only did because almost the exact same sequence came up in some anime I was watching and the dude had the same reaction as me. "Lol what an idiot... Wait a minute... Shiiiii..."<Bang head on table>

TLDR/moral: You still have more game than me if you haven't intentionally shot down someone from asking you out because you were too nervous that she would find out you liked her and reject you.

I honestly don't have any pick up advice other than have more confidence in yourself. I don't really know you that well, but, anecdotally, the care you have shown for your dog, car, home, friends that shows up on here already makes you better than 70% of the "men" my SIL has dated at least.
