Had to drop my BRZ off for some other issues but mentioned this. They hasn't TSB so they couldn't do anything. luckily I only work 2 blocks away from the dealership so dropping it off is no biggie

I'll be taking mine in later this month. I've been trying to avoid taking anything in to them, as I have a few modifications done to my car, and I like to do all of my own service. I guess I'll have them do a tire rotation while I'm there also haha

The noise is more of any annoyance than anything. The engineers I spoke to said it does not have reliability or performance issues-- just a noise.

Agreed, it just drives me insane. Took my in today. Got it back for now. Of course the parts are on back order. They'll give me a call when they come in.

Who cares? If your new iphone was constantly screaming 'android rules', while remaining 100% functional, would your return it?

I would've never purchased the iPhone in the first place

I'm not saying to not get it fixed. I'm just saying no rush needed to get it fixed.

Just got a call back from the dealer. They are replacing the HP fuel pump, but the parts are in Ontario, so it'll be a few days.

I had asked them to also disable DRL, because I don't like it. They said my ECU (old revision) does not support it, but there is a new ECU available, so they ordered that as well.

we'll see in about 3-4 days when they get the parts how quiet it will be.
