The way the place made it, they basically end up mixing the fries with the gravy and curds together, nice and hot. So you end up having gooey melty cheese that never ends.

Don't get me wrong that shit is unhealthy, but holyyy crap is it one of the best foods I've eaten in a long time.

OH ya I forgot! Vancouver hardly qualifies as Canada though. They are in their own little world. Sort of like California vs the rest of the continental US.

Ahhh I thought it was Victoria that's considered its own kind of thing compared to the rest of Canada.

Rest assured, the poutine I had so far was from a great hole in the wall kind of place, rather than one of those chain-like fast food poutineries.

I got there around 9:30am and they were already out. There was a huge freaking line and had to wait for almost an hour to get seated. There were even kids (I'm guessing highschoolers?) ditching first period to grab breakfast and teachers who were also there recognizing them haha. @TofuJoe was gracious enough to keep me company so I bought him a waffle. Still happy to get a decent breakfast out of it: 6 Sausage links, 2 eggs over easy, hashbrowns and a belgian waffle. There was definitely some more downforce on the RS this morning! lol


Hopefully the new owners keeps the same employees, specially the cook! They are all very nice and I really hope this is more of a "under new management" situation. Considering how crowded it was, you would think it isn't.
