E153 on a 86

Has anyone tried using the lightweight E153? It wasvused on the turbo MR2 and Camry's they safely handled 700 lbs of torque plus it's light.

Just wondering

Uh.....
Oh boy......well.....are you.....??.....uhmmm....

Ok I took a deep breath, took a shit, made a sandwich.

No the MR2 tranny will never fit because the holes are facing the wrong way.

And no it's not light. its weight is about the same as the 86.

You'll still need the torque converter, custom drive shaft, rear diff. And frankinstine all to make it work. Also you just added more weight.

Sounds like you just bought the wrong car.

How much torque are you putting through the transmission in your car?
