It only makes sense that the door ding was from an idiot opening their door to my car, but the roof and hood is a mystery to me as it hasn't hailed, nor have parked it in any area where something could have fallen on it.

I really would hate to believe that there are some cruel people who would do these things on purpose but it's making me feel so much more cynical. I'm sure the dents could be fixed and i'm not entirely worried at that fact as I am more towards the threat of such things happening again. I noticing through some posts though that the FRS/BRZ are rather thin skinned and prone to such unfortunate events. So I guess we'll have to be even more careful...

You would think people would be a little bit more careful towards newer cars... turns out people just don't give a damn.

Did you get your dents removed by any chance and was it covered under warranty? I know I purchased an package that covered dent and ding repair so I hope these eyesores can be rid of my life after this week!

Anyway, hope your Hot-Lava FRS is doing well!
Sounds like a curse indeed! I think there are gremlins that find our cars and giggle away as they dent the metal!

Yeah, unfortunately I've had the same experience with people. What happened to respect for other people's property? And other people!

I haven't had my dents removed yet, I wanted to see if I got any more and I might just wait until I have to put it away for winter. :'(

Other than the dings, my FR-S is doing great! Love love love this car. Good luck with your repairs and avoiding future gremlin dents! Excellent color choice, too!

question, if you purchase bumper to bumper warranty, will that count as a warranty fix?

I have dents in-between the roof line and my door, as well as on the roof. Got quoted 525 from a PDR shop.

OP I'd worry more that it will happen again, the damage seems intentional

Dents

I have a 2015 FRS-RS-1 and have a dent in the left front fender. When we bought the car the Salesman said we had complementary FREE minor dent and paint repair. Whats interesting is that depending on outside temp sometimes it almost goes away. Haven't had our first 5000 mile service as yet we will see how it goes after that.

PDR will take care of those. I had the same exact dent on my GS.

Mine looks like it was hit by a shot gun blast I have so many little dings, dents and divots in it. The difference is that I know exactly what caused each. Car wasn't even a week old when I collected my first one.
Lets see now rock, rock, rock, taillight housing from Neon, rock, rock, wood, rock, brake line on highway, rock, plastic, rock, magical direction changing airborne lower control arm and rock.
I know this sounds impossible especial if this is your first new car but eventually you will reach a point where you are pissed for a couple of seconds and then just forget about it.

OP - PDR can pull those out in minutes.

Add me to the list... I made it a month but just got about three dents and a two inch crease in my hood and a dent in my fender due to a stupid shelf falling off the wall and landing on the car ;(

Never trust shelving installed by someone else...gonna pull it all down before another one falls...

Too bad your car got dented.....
