Best Sponge/Mitt that doesnt swirl?

What sponge/mitt do you guys use to wash your car?? I have a Black FRS and it seems like maybe what i'm using is causing swirls still in my paint. I wash with Meguiars Ultimate wash & wax using the 2-bucket method. This is the pad i use

I use the Uber Merino Wool wash mitt and I've not had any problems.

To be fair though, every six months I go over my car with paint cleaner and sealant as well.

I also have used the Uber mitt for a few years. I was hesitant at first due to the cost, but the quality, ease of use and durability easily justifies the somewhat high price. No regrets here.

And once you've dunked it into the wash bucket a few times, it's like you're wearing a sheep!

Also, @DetailersDomain has a deal for the mitt with a bottle of Lusso Auto Bathe for the same price as the mitt on its own.

also when you are washing, try to start at the top of the car and work your way down, one panel at a time,

cleanest to dirtiest

OptiCoat your car and washing n detailing will be a lot easier. I use just a microfiber mitt that cost me $12.00. I use optimum instant detailer & gloss enhancer after every other wash.

Swirls are induced by technique, not the product; you shouldn't be getting swirls unless you're "swirling" when you wash the car, or you're taking it through an automated car wash. When I'm washing my car I only run the MF towel in the same way I would expect the airflow to go over my vehicle.

That being said, there are definitely lower grade MF towels that will scratch your paint, especially if you're not careful, and depending on how you wash your car.

Make sure you get a higher GSM grade MF towel; there are a few good detailing websites that sell high-quality, high GSM grade MF towels; Microfiber Madness is a good brand, and it looks like other users have provided you with a few helpful links - GL!

I've got the XL wash mitt that OP posted. Wayy too big of an application for this car, a regular autozone microfiber wash mitt is much better.

Swirls from washing are kinda inevitable, you're going to scrub some peice of dirt or sand matter accidentally no matter what kind of product you're using. Best advice I can say is use a foam gun to soak your car in soap so that the dirt gets trapped easily in the suds.

Also to note, OP, I hate meguiar's wash and wax. It has a weird feel and smells funny. It's freaking terrible if any gets on the side plastic vent flairs on a BRZ, dries it up. I'll always recommend using a dedicated wash product and doing a dedicated wax over using that stuff.

The last time I had my hand in sheep's mitt I lost some rings.

....I am not sure we are talking about the same thing though.
