BS or NOT? Subaru Concept at Geneva to be skeleton only

Not a big fan of the drama/BS on NASIOC so I don't spend too much time there. If the 'SOA Blog' is legit, that is good for me. The implication being that it WILL come to North America as a Subaru, so if Toyota NA drops the ball with the Scion thing, I have an alternative.

Still wondering why Subaru would be in charge of the RWD platform when Toyota clearly has the more experienced engineers (LFA). Also you can't really say it's been 'clear' that Subaru is running the show from the start when almost all the press is been on the FT86.

Ditto, I rarely go there. Prob only time I visit there is FS stuff & that's pretty much it. Some of the member there are more cold blooded than I am on this site.

I have no problem in acknowledging that Subaru is playing a significant part in the development, but to say that they are in charge of everything mechanical, and to imply that Toyota is only responsible for aesthetic and quality control elements has to be stretching it a lot. It was never implied from the beginning that Subaru would be doing all the heavy lifting. If they are, why is Tada calling the shots? Is it a case that a Toyota engineer is in charge of a group of Subaru engineers? Because it's quite clear that this is his project, and while it would be a good thing for Subaru's engineers to learn the ropes of proper FR cars, frankly it'd be absurd to discard Toyota's decades of FR expertise to let Subaru dabble in what they aren't accustomed to. That's what one would call mismanagement of resources, and that's one thing that Toyota is masterful of NOT doing.

I am an extreme lurker over on "NABISCO" but never joined because of the crazy attitude from some of the moderators over there.

I remember when SOA Blog first appeared the whole forum was throwing the BS flag and questioning the legitamacy of that title. It got to the point where the mods actually suspended SOA Blog until they could be verified through multiple sources. It turned out that SOA Blog was actually not just one person, but multiple people employed by Subaru of America who were responsible for Subaru's internet presence.

They have been extremely accurate in the past and there really is no reason to doubt them now.
