Your problem is you intentionally downplay all the thought, engineering and styling changes that went into designing the fiesta ST. You've ignored the performance data that for the price makes it an exceptionally good buy; then turn around and play up everything the twins have. The twins are fantastic cars, everyone on this forum agrees and understands that. It's the reason we're here. But there is absolutely no reason to downplay and play ignorant to other cars that aren't your taste. You are wrong; the fiesta st is not just an economy car with a turbo slapped on to it or with a better suspension setup. It's also not a sports car, no one called it a sports car, everyone has been calling it a hot hatch. You know what is very evident? You hate Ford and you probably wouldn't give them the time of day to prove anything anyway.

To the OP, just drive both and make your decision.
In my opinion Practicality: Fiesta ST Driving feel: Twins Interior Styling: Subjective Looks: Subjective Fun Factor: Both cars are incredibly fun but subjectively speaking my vote goes to the Twins Layout: Pick your poison, FWD vs RWD. Just like you'd do at a clothing store, try them all then choose.
