Or perhaps the Premium Trim is 26k? Like we've been guessing for the last few months lol...

that would be great, but seems unlikely. Just looking at the features and comparing to other cars it doesn't seem feasible. I'm having a hard time even thinking of a car that starts at $25k that has HIDs much less navigation, heated seats, bluetooth, hd radio, satellite radio, etc.

Premium at $26k would be depressing.

curious to what price you are expecting for a premium model? $26000 can't be off by more than $1500 one way or the other.

Edit: a comparable miata starts at $25830 which has a soft top, but is also down 33hp so things probably balance out.

Almost every car made has some understeer built into it for safety reasons. For them to mention it either means it understeers a lot or he's just pointing out the differences between the two cars.

No

Yes. I think pretty much every review has had this sentiment.

mpg is BS. No way Japanese city cycle is on par with EPA hwy cycle.
BRZ will understeer when not pushed. At the limit I'd expect the Scion to push due to soft springs upfront ending the car in the worse part of the camber curve.

$26k figure is worrisome. I'm not paying more than 27k for Limited. If it's pushing 28k I'd look somewhere else.

Motortrend is saying that the Limited is around $27,000. This link to MT has detailed specs about the two trims for the BRZ.

Id recommend people try not to pay too much to the $25-$26k estimated price tag.

No Japanese car currently sold in america is the same price In japan as it is in america. Japanese Manufactured vehicles sold in america are generally 25%-30% cheaper than their JDM equal counter-parts.

There is no reason for this car to ignore the price adjustment in america. Even UK is getting this car at a confirmed £25,000 GBP ($39,171 USD). Which follows regular price adjustments of Japanese cars sold in UK.
