The other day at work, one of the kids working at the front desk was asking about my car. She seemed obsessed with it and asked if she could see it. I said sure. After ogling it and, of course as kids do these days, getting all the instagram pics of it, she asked if she could sit in it. I knew she was already super excited to do that, so I handed her the keys and let her start it. I've never seen someone so gleeful to start up a car and give it a few revs. It was quite enjoyable to see that.

Why is that GT86 drivers never acknowledge BRZeees? I always get nods of appreciation from other sporty non BRZees Subaru drivers.

I treat them all equal. Even WRX and STi.

Driving slow to go to the mechanic to get a intake leak tested. Guy next to me in traffic with a Lexus rolled down his window and told me I had a nice car and that it was clean.

Pretty amazing when people still ask me what car/year it is and I tell them it's a 2013.

Had a similar experience in traffic last year. Dude waved me down until I rolled down my window, he just had to know what it was.

Some people are just that oblivious, the even funnier part is mine was a 17 86 and he was in at least a 13 Rav4.

I bet you don't get that now. It's hard to not know what a Type R is...or what it looks like

Caught up with my cousin yesterday, he's a serial ST buyer/driver. I finally had the opportunity to give him the chance to drive my car.

His response was interesting, "I didn't think it would drive the way it does", "can't believe how sensitive it is..". I think the revvy nature, low CofG, the directness of the steering and the car's ability to get on its tip toes all helped whilst feeling planted..

I've driven his ST, didn't like it much, just felt like every other Focus, just a bit more poke.. numb steering, aloof, didn't feel tied down..

Red BR-Z pulled up next to me at a stoplight yesterday. We both looked over at each other and simultaneously hit the finger guns. He turned right, I went straight, we both drove away smiling.

BR-Z and FR-S stand for Broz and Friends
