I just went to Subaru, they still got NFI when they getting a car or even prices. They getting a car though lol!

I got the BRZ brochures, seems the BRZ is just one spec, with a few options. The 'base' spec looks great though, got HID lights, the best instrument cluster with digital speedo, dual zone climate control, 17" wheels....

Optional front heated seats, optional leather / alcantara seats.

Navigation unit in the accessories, with some other cool stuff.

Seems this BRZ model exactly what I want in the 86, so just hope the pricing is good.

Most of the stuff mentioned is in the GTS 86, just curious, are they the the same components rebadged or entirely different ones?

:edit: nevermind, I looked at some picture comparisons. It's the same.

At any rate it's nice to see some of the vanity stuff are options, rather than the 86 which comes in two trim levels. I'll be curious to see the price difference.

Hmm this will be interesting. Will they price the same as the GTS but with features missing, or actually have it somewhere between the GT and GTS, then have it add up to the GTS price (or a little over) once you option the BRZ to the same level (with leather, sat nav, etc)

Pricing in the middle with a bit less kit is a good way to differentiate, although it means getting the car YOU want with the right options will be an epically long wait unless you luck out on one with the stuff you want already landed...

Nav is add on accessory. Standard is 6 stack double din unit.

How I got the 2 brochures? Walked into Subaru dealer today.

It's perfect spec for me, just have to wait on price....
Don't care about the wait, I'm in no rush.

Seems to me that they can price more aggressive because they will have shorter supply than Toyota coming into the country. And the demand for the BRZ is very high as it is for the 86. Subaru doesnt have to play as nice as Toyota has. Funny thing about it is that they didnt even have to advertise the car lol. Still got waiting lists and pre-orders out the door! They could charge 42K minimum but I think they won't. It'll be about the same as the 86.

Both brochures

Only image worth showing out of the 'picture story' booklet, the BRZ cluster. Looks nice, better than the white GTS one!

And only one page (split in two for better (crappy) pics) worth photo of in the 'spec' brochure. Rear under diffuser looks interesting....

I like what they are doing, but I think asking for an optional leather interior would probably mean you won't see the car till next year, if that.

I recon the price will be just under GTS - by around $1000, which is what leather will cost you.

I think I will stick with my GT order - but its interesting to watch

Most of those add-ons will fit straight onto a 86 I do like that rear diffuser, but I doubt it will have practical applications!
