Yawn... these threads are for dreams only. They already know what the 2nd gen 86 is going to be. Tada-san will never read this.

Lower the rest of the torque so there is no dip and people will stop whining about it.

No parts bin aesthetic gimmickry please. More power through displacement or forced induction for daily driving please. If you dont think that's necessary, you dont live in south florida where "boulevards" are 4 lane highways and the speed limit only applies when there are quotas to meet

woah there, you can pry my heated seat from my warm dead bum. Also I think it adds like <10lbs to the car. I wouldn't say no to a heated steering wheel either. Not like those add much weight or complexity, it's just a couple wires and a switch.

Electronic suspension could also be nice, it drastically improves the handling of the new civic SI, and again doesn't add much weight at all (just a couple stepper motors and a driver. stepper motors are also quite reliable), it's not necessary, but I wouldn't be upset if it had it.

Mostly I just want to see a bit more NA power (hoping for an NA2.4 based on the ascent turbo architecture, which should be similar in weight to the current engine. Maybe something in the 230hp, 200ftlb range), and an interior that's a little less... flexible (If I lean on the doorcard armrest it bends down like an inch).

If they do that, I'll be buying one new in ~2025 as my first ever new car. If they screw it up, I'll just supercharge mine, and eventually replace it with a second hand M240i or cayman S.

I'd rather have more rev's then more displacement.

seriously it is amazing how many people think the twins struggle with passing, getting up to highway speed, etc....guess most people on this forum did not drive a "normal" ecobox with a 0-60 of over 9 secs!

I just pretend my car is fast and that everyone else's is REALLY fast. Then it doesn't bother me.

Yeah, I'd to get more revs THEN more displacement! So first year of next gen we get 8500rpm, THEN 2nd year we also get 2.4 liters. Yeah, should be good for 280hp...

They should cancel that 86.
Car morons don't deserve it.

The reception of the 86 was a disgrace
Total idiots who don't understand the car.
Too slow! More power!!

The 86 was the most misunderstood and mismarketed car of all time.

Even most 86 owners don't get it.
Fools blab on about turbo and mods from day one.

The BRZ was never meant for the fools who think it needs anything.
They need a Mustang GT
or any of the other DOZENS of cars out there with massive engines.

Sadly, most car guys are fools.
They mod the crap out of it trying to make it something it's not supposed to be

There is simply no other car like it in the market today.
I plan on driving mine forever.
I'm glad I got mine and hope parts don't disappear.

Clueless ricer car idiots don't deserve the 86.
Cancel it, and let them eat Mustangs.

Colin Chapman is rolling over in his grave
