Gonna have to ask the previous owner.

The previous owner probably messed it up in some way or another. It's a really tough motor when you do things right.
You should be fine with a new one, just don't go too crazy for the first 10k miles.
Most of us have been beating the piss out of ours for several years now.

I found out I have the stock pulley with flex flex and 700cc injectors tuned with delicious. It was retuned by JDL so I figure it should be good.

Probably a significant likleyhood of running without oil being the cause of your rocker failure too. Oil is God.

yeah, for this kit you want either @moto-mike or delicious tuning.

I currently run a Moto East tune on my 335 unit.

JDL and vivid definitely set this car up right. I'm definitely leaning towards the previous owner being the problem. His house was disgusting.

Broken rockers happen to stock motors. I think you may have just been unlucky because it's not really possible for a supercharger to cause valvetrain failure.

I have the 878th BRZ made back in 2012 and haven't had any issue with rockers or my 210 or any major issue for that matter. Only a few little things here and there.
