Steering wheel "clicking" ?
Helloooo,
My FR-S has been peachy up until a couple of weeks ago. I noticed one day while I was driving, making a wide turn, my steering wheel made a subtle "click" sound. When I was finally able to park my car, I tried turning the steering wheel again to see if it would make the same "clicking" sound and sure enough, it did! Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue.. if it is an issue or if it's just my overactive imagination? Haha. Help a sistah out, please! |

Take your car into Servco and let them check it out. New car warranty is 3 yrs.
I've never had that happen to me. |

I turn my steering wheel all the way both to left and right multiple times a week when I park in my favorite stall at work, but it never made any clicking sound. So, it's not your overactive imagination.
One thing you might want to try. Try unlocking the lock of the steering wheel. The one you unlock to adjust the height of the steering wheel. And see if the clicking noise goes away. My steering wheel was making a clicking noise while I was driving. When I did that, the noise went away. |
