I just heard back from the shop about this. Apparently the wheel looks fine, but kept leaking from where the sidewall meets the wheel until they moved the balancing weights from the outer edge of the wheel to the inner edge. New one to me. I plan to bring the car to the shop and mount the tire there, then listen for any leaks once it's on the car.

Hmmm... That makes no sense to me.

Same here. This is the first time I've used this shop. The one I normally go to is closed due to construction. I did look into reviews a bit before taking the tire there, but choices were pretty slim on a Saturday afternoon. So long as the tire doesn't leak, I'm happy. I was thinking about using this as an excuse to get new wheels and tires anyway.

It is a better excuse to get a new shop!

I just bought a crappy looking Lasko box fan from HD and the box actually reads Made in USA. I knew it was BS when the power cord has some kung fu master's name written on it.

It can be assembled in the USA and still be said "made" there. All the components could be from someplace else.
