@Gforce
1. If your (In general not directed at you) traction control is constantly activating it means your driving too aggressive for the streets. If you don't realize that, leave it on. It will save your ass.

2. Too many people think they can drift because they play forza or watch formula d. It doesn't default to off for liability reasons. It's saving Toyota and Subaru from law suits.

I can't believe you guys made me read this...

K, 3 warnings:
1. Keep it in the topic. I know FT-86's FT stands for "Forgotten Topic", but TRY to keep it in topic.
2. No Canadian jokes... except if you're teasing Tcoat! jk Tcoat, but some of you avoid those racial joke, even light joke.
3. Street racing/drifting or any other illegal stuff ARE NOT allow or accepted in the forum! Yes, unexpected slide in ice or black ice do happen... but purposely drifting on public road & discuss about it isn't allowed on the forum. I'll say it again, IT IS NOT allowed on the forum! Keep all the fun stuff at the track or other organized motorsport events. IDC if you're next gen Takumi or Bunta... Even if you're are next gen Takumi or Bunta, I don't see them bragging bout it.

Anyone break this rules in this thread from this post on, you might get temp banned for 7 days to 6 months.

All have been warned.

ichi

Just to return this thread to the original topic and picking up on post # 2 I suggest fitting rear springs from the 2017 model year as a first step to improving the handling. The stock front struts and springs are actually pretty good. The problem is with the rear axle. Fitting 15% softer rear springs but keeping the stock dampers would probably work very well and be much cheaper than B6 shocks.

Hi all, @OND,

I have the 2017 BRZ (not the PP), I would like to lower without sacrificing performance. I was thinking of
1. B6+RCE Yellows
2. Koni Yellows+RCE Yellows
3. just the RCE Yellows
4. Tein Flex Z

I was wondering what would be the better option of the 4. I would use this as a DD but I would track occasionally (4ish times a year)

Thank you

You guys gotta be careful ichi is on you & I like all you guys.

Is the 2017 normal damper same as 2015? I really wanna try Sachs....why isn't anyone selling theirs...I already changed the rear sway to 2017 alone with STI trailing arm.control arm. The way it grips and let go is very smooth & love it. But I'm still just old stock damper on STI pinks (*aka behaves like stock with high threshold) so I really wanna upgrade the dampers and see what they do.
