Post Interesting news about BBS

Last month, BBS North America informed us that BBS Japan has just purchased the forged side of BBS as well as the Motorsports division.

We’re still waiting on an update from them to let us know what
our program here in NA will be going forward. I think this might mean very good things for the cooler BBS applications that are out there and in the future.

A Lot of people don't know that the great majority of BBSs line, including cast and OEMs are mostly made in Germany, and all the ones we typically lust after are BBS Japan (figures).

I'm waiting for the next hot application from BBS, I hope its LM like so we can rock it on the FRS!

...Thoughts?

If thats true, thats exciting news. BBS Japan has been overshadowed by BBS, and their north american presence hasn't been all that great. AKA it could be better.

I really hope that BBS America upscales their programs and establish a dominating presence in motorsports here.

Check your history books.

The Japanese learned quality control from an American named W. Edwards Demming circa 1950.

so you're agreeing with me, your link pretty much confirms the high QS of japan (and the associated cost)

as for before the 50's, well i wasn't aware it was up to debate, and i appologise for using a such a general term as "never" :happy0180:
