Do you have a FR-S/BRZ/86 .....?? If not, are you planning on getting one .. ?? Yep, you will find that most of the time, an OP (original poster) doesn't give out all the relevant information in the first post. They will dribble it out throughout the thread. Sometimes we have to drag it out of them. You'll catch on ...... humfrz |

So, posting after a couple years of lurking? Can we read anything into that? Did you replace the honda with a BRZ?

does anyone know the proper way to take out the washer spray nozzle? does the entire cowl have to come off? or do I just grab it with needle nose pliers and yank them out? I'm not sure on the proper way to get the old spray nozzle out (clogged on driver side)

Pull the hose from the washer fluid reservoir and use some compressed air to blow the hose and nozzle out. A few short bursts shouldn't damage anything and is less likely to cause a leak than trying to poke a wire or similar through the nozzle or hose.

Anyone else suffering from low pressure on the driver side sprayer? I swapped out the sprayers, blew air through the lines, and still have the issue.
*Update* seems to have been there liquid I was using. Went back to rain x and issue is resolved. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk Last edited by Rican_D; 04-13-2020 at 09:26 PM. |

My washer spray gave out entirely. When I pull the wiper stalk there is no spray and no sound to indicate the sprayer motor is working.
In this case, I think it actually might be the pump instead of the lines being clogged. The 2 Subaru dealers in my area both have service department reputations that give me pause. I'm worried that they're going to charge me a bunch of money to diagnose the issue and then not cover it under warranty. To complicate matters, I'm hitting 3 years with my car in about a week. So it's now or never for bumper to bumper coverage. Any idea on how much time an independent shop would need to bill to replace the pump? I'd rather not have the stress of fighting with a crappy dealer service department right now. Prefer to just go to a mechanic I trust. Looks like the pump is about $35: https://www.subarupartwholesale.com/...6611CA010.html Last edited by TofuJoe; 07-05-2020 at 03:41 PM. Reason: Update |
