Oh, if we're discussing discontinued cars, he by all means should have gone with the Pontiac Aztek.

Every time I see one of those driving by, it's a miracle I don't hit an old lady crossing the street. They are so ugly, I can't not look!

BTW, OP should have gotten a Mustang. Drove a half dozen Camero's and Stangs, Camero just can't come close to a 5-oh.

Maybe it was just for looks. But living with a smoking hot women that's just gonna turn into her 300lb mom, isn't my idea of a good investment.

Would like to know how much he got for trade in? Just for fun the other day(Would never trade in my BRZ) but got a dealership to give an estimate, he came back at $22K for my limited, auto trans and under 2K miles. Just laughed and said thanks.

No need, they already have things like the ZL1.

it doesn't matter if your car is under 2k or have this or have that. The MOMENT you drive a new car off the lot, it loses 25% of it's original value. The amount of money that your car is worth is only equal to the amount of money others are willing to pay for your used car.

You "just laughed and said thanks" cause you were trolling the dealership's time, but i'm sure they turned around and laughed at you for not knowing how car price work.

Yea, because car dealerships are super busy these days that they are crammed for time. This isn't my first time buying a car, I know how the game works.

Let me just make an extreme example although there are a lot of examples in between:

Going 'fast' to some people can be simply the time it takes to reach the end of a 1/4 mile drag strip.

In a sports car, however, it means how quickly one can go in many other situations, not all, that is not a straight line. One situation might be on a continuously winding mountain road. Granted, the BRZ is not the quickest sports car, but it does things reasonably quick in many situations.
