Yep, me being one of them, just pointing out to @Jason@Nameless that they have a product that a ton of people want, and want now. Keep working on the STX legal one for your auto-x guys, but in the mean time:

^Precisely. Cutting the fan shroud and replacing with SPAL fans is not everyone's cup of tea.

I would love to do a drive like that. I was driving a Forester in Alaska and its nothing but windy roads and curves with amazing views. Only problem is there are the occasional potholes and the ridges in the roads from all the cars with chains on their tires in the winter. It's gorgeous in the spring/summer and I would love to just drive through parts there in my FR-S.

Yeah, I'm with you on that one. I wouldn't want to hack away at things unless it was for a serious upgrade, like a turbo kit. Header (in my eyes) should just be bolt, tune, and go.

I used to be up to date on this thread. There was a preliminary dyno showing 40 or so lbft of torque in the dip. Is that still what people are focused on?

Not trolling, just curious if there was additional hype. Looking for cliff notes essentially.

It's almost a completely different header at this point. We'll have to wait for final results. They are going through several revisions.

That's it man. That and the fact that nameless makes good stuff and they are probably one of the few shops that would bother to make so many revisions before pushing out a product. I said it earlier, this shop is what you get when you have engineers doing the marketing/business administration.

Why didn't they just release more than one model, ffs?

Or have an upgrade plan? Car companies do it.

Street 2012: @Tainen 's STX friendly header: Release version. Makes power, has been reliable.

Hardcore 2013: Illegal as shit for STX super hardcore header: The one that requires the fan cutting, and maybe a lot of swearing.

Street 2014: Upgrades they are trying to currently implement.

They could give them fancy number codes, too so people could go all car nerd on them.

"Nice exhaust, bro. Is it the Nameless E125?"
"No it's their E230?"
"No way, that the new 2014 model right?"
"Yeah."
*brofist*

@Jason@Nameless remember that kaizen is also incorporated ibto active product lines.
