Kind of like drag racing. A fun thing to do to alleviate the boredom of driving to work. But if you take a seriously....
Zero talent to win, always a pissing contest, he who has the most cash always wins.

I agree 100% but it's not the point here - in this case the dyno is a tool to prove that this tjoon is working, or not.

That being said, chasing 5kw or whatever is a waste of time and money, no butt dyno is THAT finely tuned. Tuning for the sake of getting rid of the torque dip, sure...but we're not seeing that either, except in GeeTee86's thread. Which is getting very little attention funny enough, maybe Delicious also needs a cheerleader?

As suggested before, the best way to settle this would be to run GT86's car at FR, load the tune, drive around the block and run it again.
He's posted before and after Dyno charts of a BRZ months ago now, So Im not sure what more you guys want.
I'm also not some wet behind the ears 18yr old who slaps on a cone filter and thinks the car has suddenly managed to time travel once it reaches 88mph. Placebo effect se GAT!

If you're not convinced that's fine but when people start slamming someone's product, and also the guys who've tried the product and are very happy with it, its just not on.

I'm not sure I've ever seen DAMMOD say the Phoenix tune is the be and end all of 86/BRZ Tuning in SA. everything he's told me the car will do it has done and then some! so, as a sceptic with most things, I'm happy and so others and that's enough for me.

BTW

I've said before, dyno nrs does not interest me.
I'm interested in what happens between 2000 and 5000 rpm.

This is kak funny, the whole thread has been you questioning numbers

On the one hand there are super happy clients, loving the way their cars feel not giving a hell about numbers. They make a post saying this and the first thing is "where is ur chart?" "Do you have a before and after"....Then all of a sudden numbers dont mean shit.

Thanks for the laugh guys

The original thread has gone way off topic with too much **** swinging for my liking. Since my original question re: EcuTek tuners have been answered a few months ago I'm asking the mods to lock this thread. If you have questions about Phoenix performance's tuning, mail them or make a plan to contact them, I've certainly never seen Dammod make a push to get anyone to buy their product.

cheers

Thanks for the laugh indeed, your de-tune is a joke. Less power, less torque, same dip and shitty curve - is it even a tune?

Shaun, don't worry, at least you know your engine is safe pushing less than stock.
