You can come see mine on Sunday and it will get your hopes back up. It's worth the wait man. I promise. There's no other exhaust like it on the market. It takes roughly a month+ to get one made due to their backlog of orders. Welds are all extremely high quality... you'll see for yourself. Like I said, come check mine out at the Oasis on Sunday! Sounds real deep, actually very quiet on all stock exhaust, but I plan on getting a 3" system to connect to it which will be LOUD.

I have a question to the owners of 2.5", 5" muffler. I installed mine this week and surprisingly I find it pretty loud in some cases. For comparison, I sat in a car with unresonated 2.5" Perrin header-back + intake and it seemed like my car is not that far off in terms of volume, , which I find shocking. Nameless has much more low end note, while Perrin setup has some low end, but seems not overwhelming.

Most volume seem to come under 4k light driving. Above that, the engine noise takes over. It puts out the most volume when I get on the gas pedal, for example cruising on the highway in 6th and giving it a bit of gas, the noise increases a lot, with the windows up it seems to resonate quite a bit in the cabin, to the point that I think I have slight slight headache after 10 minute highway drive. I tightened it pretty well I think and there seems to be no leak at the connection. Frankly, I'm leaning towards switching it for something more mild.
Is this muffler really that loud? I really wanted to like it, its well made, but maybe its not for me. My co-worker tells me to leave it for a week or two and it may quiet down some, but I don't really think it will make that much of a difference.

mine quieted down a bit after a few weeks I like it loud, so I altered some stuff to make it louder. I have an original prototype exhaust from last year. not sure of the differences.

Difference is muffler size is larger and an offset option to make it deep tone sounding. Also a 3" version. You can still order a 4" non offset though. One is just more ideal for a carless header.

I'm happy to report that about a week or so later the muffler has quieted down noticeably. I think it's perfect now.

Yep, and once you add things like a catless header, it will keep it reasonable, but still fairly loud. The stock midpipe has a good resonator in it to tame the sound, but make it louder than something like a Perrin resonated exhaust.

It's pretty crazy loud with a catless UEL header, nameless catted front pipe and 5 inch offset axleback. I'm just glad is still doesn't drone but cold start and anytime I put my foot in the throttle it sounds crazy. It sounded perfect before the header, now I just don't know...

People are going to hate me when I start my car up at 6 am, lol. JDL UEL + Nameless 3" DP, Midpipe, Axleback.

I started up my car after it sat in a parking garage overnight. I think I set off every alarm around my car... Sounded like the car should have 1000hp lol. Can't even imagine with a full 3" system. I'm gonna bet it'll be too loud for you!

I drove an '02 Camaro SS with catless headers and an SLP Loudmouth which is literally just a resonator for years. I'll be able to handle the little boxer engine rumble. I do hate rasp though with a passion, so I added cats to my Camaro's headers and it got rid of it.

Hey Matt, thanks for the information. I know this is a bit older thread and hopefully you get this, but would going with a 3" and no turbo down the road a a 4" muffler be good even though I'm not getting a turbo?

Thanks!

I'm changing my decision on this now. Highly recommend NOT going 3" due to the drone/rasp in the system as N/A. My plan did not work out accordingly and I'm going with a Q300 system with an Invidia catted front pipe since the pipe sizing is 2.36". I'd strictly use 3" for turbo only.
