Should I paint my lip kit?

Hello, I just got a pair of ABS plastic STI side skirts and STi style rear spats and was wondering if I should paint it. Black is the color I want them to be, which they already are. So is it worth it for me to paint them?

If yes, can someone recommend me a place to buy supplies at a good value? (aerosol can primer, paint, clear coat)

If you want them to be black, and they're already black, what would be gained by painting them? Unless you want gloss black or something instead of ABS plastic black.

Some might say it's pointless to paint black ABS side skirts the same colour but if you have the money, do it. It's what I would do. It will give your side skirts a more OEM look, especially if they're painted professionally and clear coated to give it that glossy look rather than a dull matte look.

It depends on the finish of the plastic. If it's texture but is otherwise finished nicely, leave it. If it would need work either way, you might as well paint.
