Mine was on e85, I don't think the nameless one looks as good IMHO. It has a big dip in the beginning and doesn't hold as much tq up top?

Yeah, it had some weak points because it was on a full 3" exhaust. Probably choked on very low RPM's, not sure why it tapers off in the upper band. I think they plan on doing a 2.5" here shortly when the header is released.

The JDL Header was definitely high up there on my list. I'm still even considering it.

Thing is though you can't compare 91 to e85 just like that. With the stock header if you look at dynos of just tuning, when people run e85 they are making power 500-750 rpm longer than 91. It's nothing to do with the exhaust, it's being able to run better timing due to the higher octane.

I wish the manufacturers would show some proper numbers instead of inflating numbers. Comparing a completely stock car to a header full exhaust tuned on e85 doesn't tell me at all how good the header is. Either show the base line with everything including e85 except the header or do everything on 91 with the header back on the baseline.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of all the e85 first dyno of products. I like to see the more reasonable pump gas dynos with 91 and 93 THEN e85 for the people that want to go that route. People know e85 produces big numbers so it markets products better.

@Rev Works dyno'd their header on a completely stock vehicle and showed its true gains. Mad props to them for showing true gains without inflated numbers. I don't think it was tuned either so they showed the raw hp/tq values.

The nameless dyno is on pump gas, not e85. Thus it's not a good comparison.

Nameless dyno is also using alot of prototype products... Full exhaust (3in one off), header (revision ???), intake tube and a tuner that nobody else has used on this platform. I don't think they should even be considered until they have a product to market since the few dynos we have of nameless headers have been pretty different. I really hate how this dyno gets trotted out all the time since it's of a nearly completely bespoke setup.

P&L and FA20club have a perfectly fine equal length e85 tuned header to compare... Baselines were even nearly identical between the FA20 and JDL. Why overlook the obvious and countinue to compare the unicorn of headers to stuff that's actually being sold and installed. I mean, it really looks like it's going to come down to whether you like the boxer rumble or not. The P&L, FA20, revworks and JDL headers all seem to do quite well.

Fitted UEL header, here is the dyno run comparing before and after.
126kw = 169whp
Fuel 95 RON which is equivalent to 91 oct in US
Great mid torque improvement and nice straight line.
