Blown OBDII Fuse but still have Data
Hi All!
Back in March, my motor blew in my 2017 BRZ Limited. When I sent it out to get a brand new motor, the car came back with a blown ODB2 fuse and no matter what I do, I can’t seem to find the ground short that keeps blowing the fuse. I still get data read between my radio’s ODB2 reader since it’s not powered through the ODB2 as well as my ECUtek if I have it powered off USB. I’m going to assume that the short is somewhere in the engine bay since nothing interior wise has changed since the swap and I have no tap’s for any fuses powering other accessories. I’m worried I won’t pass emissions next year since there’s no power going to the port despite data still going through. All other ports work in the BRZ (cig lighter, radio usb, etc). I’m left scratching my head and not sure where to go next. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
