He didn't have a window switch though or any safety to cut nitrous if he hit redline. When his clutch slipped his motor spiked to redline and cut throttle while still spraying nitrous I think that's what frs300 meant by half assed

50 is the largest you should run without upgrading your fuel pump and plugs.

It's bad news if you don't have an rpm window switch. This device prevents from spraying after the rpm limit you set.(NX recommends 200rpm before rev limiter)

He didn't upgrade his fuel pump which is required for 75 and up and he was trying 100.
On 75 NX recommends to change the plugs to 1 degree colder and for 100 is a must.
He never mentioned retarding the timing.

Nitrous didn't blow his engine, the kit didn't blow his engine, HE DID

NX Stage 2 EFI kit 50 shot E85

Kit is finally running. Still needs some adjustments (having issues finding the tach signal in the brz limited.) rpm window switch is all wired except for the tach signal. Using TPS for the time being, and feels great. TrueStreet Performance, the shop where I fill my bottle says a 10lb bottle running a 50 shot should be good for up to 22 passes in the drag strip. Not interested in the drag racing stuff but based on these calculations bottle might be good for the whole month depending on driving habits.

Still haven't hooked up the tach signal. It's been a pain. Well regarding the 50 shot is not really a 50 shot for me as I'm running E85 is more like a 35 shot. Though I'm not running lean I want to get the right jets to produce a 50 shot

yea i been searching info on the jet size to run e85 pll had tols me it should be the stander fuel jet multiply by 1.5 so it ends up been .5 bigger than the fuel jet used for pump gas so i guess i will take a couple of jet when ever i go tune and hopefully gt it right.

As for track i never took mine but can tell you completely stock just borla uel headers and a 75 shoot no tune no bottle heater the car stay of a trans am ls1 by a car that same trans am beat me by around 7 cars or more with out the bottle.

I also use nitrous, the Nitrous Express plate kit to be exact. I jet for 75 or 100 depending on the trouble I plan on being in. It's been bithing but a pleasurable experience. When done correctly, desirable gains and sure to turn heads.
