I paid $900 for 16MB of RAM in 1994. Cyrix 486 clone. I wanted the memory for Photoshop.

Prices are still stupid for video cards and memory right now. I hope the system I built in 2010 holds together for a while yet.

I have played that DLC six fucking times. First two were detailed play throughs, others were to get better endings.

Guess how many times I've gotten the worst ending.

Six.

So you want to pay GTX 1080 money for 1070 performance? Makes sense.

The GPU prices are about the only thing keeping me from building a new rig right now.

When I played Blood and Wine, I got the good ending the first and only time. Sorry guys. Something must be wrong with you.

I don't think laptop GPU prices are all that high.

I did just buy a 2TB m.2 2280 SATA SSD. Gotta get my storage on.

Forza is too casual for that. You have to simulate a yellow flag as it is and that requires a decent group. When we did a series in Forza 3 here, it turned into kind of a mess. The guy hosting was super cereal about it and went through all the work of setting it up only for us clowns to show up and crash the party, literally. After a couple races he gave up or moved on to more important things. I'm not sure which. I raced with him and his friends for a bit. They were top tier good.

Most of us normal people just store their porn on an old fashioned spinning HDD.

No room on the laptop for a spinny disk. I do have a spinny server, though. 32 drive bays. About half full. Where I archive stuff.

Don't care for Nvidia so I'm not gonna buy their products.

I used to be like you, and then I saw the light.

My gaming experience has been 100% better since going to an Nvidia card. I get brand loyalty, trying to support the little guy, etc. but honestly for gaming, Nvidia just does it better, imo.

Yep, I've had Nvidia cards before so I know what they're capable of.

I'm with you. I've tried them on occasion but always go back to ATI/AMD.

I've been an ATI fanboy since the days of the EGA Wonder card that let me
play games on a monochrome monitor.

@Clipdat, not sure about your gaming experience but I've never had an issue with an ATI/AMD/Radeon card.
