$88 FRS header from Amazon

I put this on. Fit great, welds look 7/10, overall build quality 7/10. I already had a catback (isr) and k&n panel filter, and oft tablet on stage 1 93oct. Gave decent gains tuned with oft EL stage 2. Doesn't die out after 7k anymore and when I shift into 2nd I feel a huge difference. I'd say no tq dip either. will update if I develope any problems. No cel. Only downside is some smell and interstate drone over 80. Well worth it so far.

Nice find for a budget build. Need to see what kind of long term reliability it will have.

if it is just a smell from the tailpipe? I would guess that it's supposed to smell worse, since it's catless.

It's just when I start up cold, but it's a lot worse. After it warms up it's gone.... It's louder, too. I've got about another year (15k miles) with this car is one reason I went cheap. I wouldn't do it if I planned on keeping long term, tho

I hope that's a "7/10 build quality for a sub-$100 header" and not "7/10 overall"...

7/10 period. I'm a pipe fitter and welder from way back. Worked nukes etc. The welds were way better than expected. No undercut or cold lap. It was done by a machine. The fitment at joints had one "Hi-Lo". It mounted up perfectly. No leaks yet.

I'm actually astonished. If I was doing a hard core budget build, I'd do this in a heartbeat. When I first saw people post in the FB group I laughed assuming the pictures were nothing like the final product and it'd be straight trash. As far as I know you're the first person to admit publicly to buying it and to reviewing it. Thank you very much. 7/10 overall for less than $100 is amazing for a header, honestly.

When I trade up I'll let y'all know how it did. I've paid triple for worse headers TBH. For the money, they are 10/10 lol
I wouldn't have written about it if it wasn't super pleased or super disappointed. I just hope they aren't made by kids haha

If these things hold up it will be hilarious imo. I'd love to see tuned dyno results.

I feel that there's a Futurama meme befitting here, but I can't find one....
